Portfolio with 22 blue and orange sheets. Hand-cut slots at 45 and 90 degrees in various sizes. Hand written colophon by artist with an impression of his fingerprint. All sheets contained in black cloth cover box with “FC” in colors in the middle. Typed instructions are added, most probably typed by Roth himself. Inscription: “Handcut for Ives-Sillman”. Edition 4/50. Not recorded in Roth's Collected Works vol. 20.

Copy no. 51/100, boldly signed in pen by Roth on the white interior of the cover, and titled and numbered by him in pencil immediately beneath: “DITER ROT/ BOOK AA NR. 51/100/ IDEA 1958/ SC. 1964 NEW YORK.” From the library of Bernard Karpel, bibliographer and librarian at the Museum of Modern Art, with his printed address label at the top corner of the front board.

The sheets may be rearranged by color, orientation, and sequence resulting in various compositions. Signed in ink on the title page and numbered. Copy 61 of 250, signed Diter Rot.
A mint copy housed in the original publisher's shipping carton with edition number and the owners name inscribed on the cover by Dieter. The original owner was a student of Dieter’s at the Rhode Island School of Design.
