Special limited edition of 100 copies, signed and numbered by Shore, with an original chromogenic development (C-type) contact print "Merced River, Yosemite National Park, California, August 13, 1979, " (7 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches) signed in ink on verso by Shore. The print is enclosed in a matching cloth folio. Hardcover. Fine white cloth with title stamped in brown on front cover and spine (the limited edition was not issued with a dust jacket), enclosed in a matching cloth slipcase. Photographs and text by Stephen Shore. Includes a list of images, a statement from Shore and a short description of Shore"s photography by Robert Venturi (on back cover of dust jacket). Designed by Wendy Byrne. 64 pp., with 61 four-color plates, beautifully printed by D.L. Terwilliger Company, New York from color separations made by L.S. Graphic Inc. 10 x 11 1/2 inches.
